SPECIFICATIONS : With Sliding Weight, Lifting And Ramming Cam, Specimen Tube, Pedestal Cup And Stripper. The Sand Rammer can be used to prepare a standard sand specimen Dia. 50mm x Height 50mm as per Metric (Dia. 2" x Height 2" as per AFS.) The standard sand specimen is used in various tests including permeability, compressive strength, shear strength, friability, etc. Place the Specimen tube in the Pedestal Cup. Fill the Sand Sample in the Specimen Tube. Lift the left cam upward; Place the Specimen tube with Pedestal Cup on the base. Take Ramming head downward with left cam. Ram the sample three times with the help of right cam. There is a scale for measuring the final specimen height. are provided on the top bracket. The scales can also be used to determine the proper sample weight required for preparation of a standard sand specimen. See that the top of plunger rod matches the zero of the scale. It should match within +/- lmm. Lift the left cam upward. Take the specimen tube. Place it on stripping post. Pull the tube downward for removing the specimen. The Sand Rammer includes a standard weight, Lifting and Ramming cam, specimen tube, Pedestal Cup, Stripper.
